Dog of the Week — Share Your Dog’s Story

Some dogs change a day. Some change a life. We’d love to hear about yours.

As our community grows, we plan to feature a real Dog of the Week alongside the Breed Journal: a customer or dog lover, their companion, and one unforgettable story. No customer stories have been selected for this new series yet.

Nominate your dog

Use the form below. Begin your message with Dog of the Week nomination, then include your dog’s first name, breed or mix, a public nickname for yourself, and a story of about 100–400 words. You must be 18 or older and submit a story you wrote yourself.

Tell us about a funny habit, a first hello, a quiet act of companionship, an adventure, or a dog you will always remember. We welcome both joyful and thoughtful memories.

Your story stays private during review

A nomination is sent privately to our team and is not posted automatically. We’ll contact you if we’d like to develop a feature, confirm the final wording and public name, and obtain permission before publication. Selection is editorial and is never guaranteed. No purchase is necessary.

Photos and privacy

Please send text only at this stage. If we request a photograph later, we’ll need permission from its copyright owner, usually the photographer, and consent for any identifiable people shown. Owning the dog does not automatically give you rights to every photograph of the dog.

Leave out street addresses, phone numbers, children’s identifying details, order information and private information about other people. Submitting a nomination does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
