Stories with care
Heart of the Breed publishes original editorial content about dogs, companionship and breed-inspired design. Breed descriptions are general introductions; individual dogs vary. Our journal and community do not replace professional veterinary or training advice.
Real people, real permission
Community submissions are reviewed. We do not invent customer experiences, reviews or Dog of the Week features. Before using a nominated story as a feature, we confirm the public name and permission with its contributor. Photographs need appropriate rights and permissions. Permission to feature a story does not authorize printing it or its photographs on merchandise.
Sources and events
We link to official organizations and organizers for further reading. A resource link is not a partnership or endorsement. Organizers control event details, eligibility and cancellations. We do not promise a complete national calendar, and we do not copy other websites’ articles, images or calendars.
Advertising and affiliate links
Paid promotional content will carry a clear advertising label near the placement. If we introduce affiliate links, we will explain the commission relationship before or beside those links. Payment will not guarantee praise, favorable reviews or a place in a customer spotlight. Advertisers are responsible for substantiating their claims; we may reject unsuitable advertising.
Original artwork
Public T-shirt artwork submissions are not open. A future artist program would require a documented rights review and a written agreement addressing permitted uses and compensation before artwork could be reproduced or sold. Sending an unsolicited image does not create a licensing agreement.
